I think those people are either oblivious, prepared, or poker-faced.
I don't know how anyone takes me seriously, after hearing my own voice.
Me too. However, my boss's voice sounds like mine and people sure take him seriously...so that comforts me.

Everyone sounds like a retard when they hear a recording of themself. If nobody has ever reacted to your voice (not your words or actions; that'd be a whole other story) by changing to the "I'm talking to a retard" attitude then you're fine.
I feel like I sound like a retard when I hear myself as well. But other people don't seem to react that way.

I just heard myself talk in the video above. Yeah, I sound like a retard to myself as well.

Could you be so kind as to remove my first name. Or last. Im in a job hunt and would rather not have this pop up right away. And perhaps the location. It really could result in legal issues.

Gracias, senor. OLE!

I really like how grainy this one is. It sums up a lot of what the meet was.

i like the 2nd one a lot but the first one is missing lots of detail in the foreground (what's dark). which program did you use to do this and were they taken from different pics?

Its a fake HDR from a single shot. The original is very dark as well. I like that the cars dont stick out a lot. The point was not to focus on the cars, but rather to set them into an interesting background as if they belong there.

This is the original:

And the HDR for easier comparison:
