Re: HOT MODELS
I've always had the urge to paint model cars. My grandfather had an old Ferrari one back when I was about 4(I think that's where it all started ) . I loved that car. Steering wheel and tires worked. Doors worked and so did the wipers. I think I'll buy a cheaper one though. 4grand is a little hefty.

Re: HOT MODELS
For that price, it should even come with a working replica of the real engines.

For the man who has no girlfriend and doesn't care.
Two pedals, two feet, too easy.

Aha, Neiman Marcus. One of their stores is only about a 20-25 minute drive from me. I thought that was a clothing store, not an overpriced car-guy store.

Re: HOT MODELS
Those models probably use real CF / Suede / leather... you name it. I supposed that these models aren't necessarily geared towards the child, but rather for the adult who may or may not have the "Real Deal". I could see really rich people who actually own the Veyron, or Lambo going out and buying these.

I've seen that before, but it's still pretty awesome! All the hard work that guy had to go through to make that replica...

The 2nd thru 20th ones should have come along much faster, now that the design time and tooling were already done. That's how you fund the next project.camera_man wrote:I've seen that before, but it's still pretty awesome! All the hard work that guy had to go through to make that replica...

^ Yes, where a one-bedroom dump will set you back $3K a month. Where a three-bedroom condo costs $1.2mil.
Anyway, I used to work at a company named Varian Medical Systems, right across the street from Stanford. Beautiful place, especially just down the block into the hills.
