Bad. Signifies GM ownership.
Good. Pre-100% GM ownership

Re: FAIL thread
Not faster than me either technically. Though .4 seconds faster to 60 (5.6/6.9) and .3 seconds faster in the 1/4 mile (14.2/14.5), I win in total fastocity with a limited 155mph while an SRT-4 just runs out at 153.
Actually, Id be quite interested to see what the 30-70, 50-100, etc times look like.
Considering the fact that Viggens went out of production before SRT-4s started being produced may or may not cancel the speed difference out and make drag times essentially the same or give favor to the Viggen. [insert research here] Looks like not. With GM at the reigns, the fastest 9-3 in Aero trim is actually slower than a Viggen. Sticking to the lighter hatch instead of making heavy sedans with underpowered engines would Im sure have made a difference Again, Id like some passing times for all vehicles in question. Turbos are best in the midrange, after all.

Re: FAIL thread
Wiki claims the SRT-4 quarter to be 13.8 not 14.2.

Re: FAIL thread
you never want to look at wikipedia for anything more than curb weight and what kind of engine they have. people mess around with how much horsepower the engine puts out and what kind of drag times they put down all the timeAHTOXA wrote:Wiki claims the SRT-4 quarter to be 13.8 not 14.2.

Re: FAIL thread
I've always had a soft spot for SRT-4s. Just something about the fact that it's a Neon, but is capable of raping face (in a straight line... from a roll...). I'd probably never own one though, because of the ricer stigma attached to them (I've actually met a bunch of cool SRT-4 owners, but the ricer majority gets all the attention), and the fact that the car's at-speed handling leaves a lot to be desired (it seems like more SRT-4s become tree pants than any other car). But hey, if I had a bunch of money, I just might have to get one with slicks and a GT40R.

Re: FAIL thread
You're right, noob. My friend's little brother had one and it was fast. I just have a hard time getting over the lackluster interior (come on, the front windows are power and the rear are manual) as well as lack of traction and handling.
