New member, old car

Post by Werty »

Hi all. I've been driving my 1992 Corolla Wagon 5spd (273,000 miles!) for the last five years since I moved to the US from the UK. We'll see if she makes it to 300,000 - should be some time next summer since I have a 90 mile round-trip commute.

Well my wife and I chose our current home so we'd each have an hour commute in opposite directions. She's still got another 2 years before finishing her PhD so we're hoping gas prices don't go up much further before then :)

90 mile commute is harsh. I do around 70 each day and mileage adds up fast.

Welcome to the forum and enjoy your stay.

Yup. I'll throw up a pic once I get home (on vacation in Maine at the moment).
