Congrats on the new wheels! Not sure if I like the new sans cladding move, but the new Impreza is certainly more refined than in years past. Has caught up to the competition in that respect. Plenty of years of shifting away with that Subaru.

Also see a healthy dose of visual parts sharing between models (beyond being back on the same generation modified Legacy chassis):

Wow, they are more similar than I would have thought. When I made the decision to buy, one of my only concerns was whether the interior and ride would be refined enough. After driving a couple weeks, that concern is laid to rest.

Yes, I would probably rather have cladding than two-tone. Probably easier to repair if the unthinkable happens.

Thanks to all for the comments.
I'm easy to spot. Look for the guy thinking to himself, "Am I wearing out my clutch?"

Well done, wannabe, thanks. I'll try to make that work.

By the way, I put the new license plate card back in the window after I took the pictures. Additionally, I removed the dealer decals. First time I've bothered to do that to a car. I kept looking over my shoulder for the flashing lights of a Vehicle Enforcement squad car. It was like tearing the tag off a mattress.
ur welcome. it was easy...saved the pic to aaron's desktop, then uploaded it to my photobucket. its a nice pic to have in my "car" section...:P

Someone help me out here? Why does the Outback look like the Impreza hatch?

The Outback Sport looks like an Impreza hatch. The Outback (Non-Sport) is still Legacy-based.

Corrected. Same exact body. Engine, depending on what cars youre comparing exactly, may or may not be different.
