New here from Phoenix
Found this board with lots of good info for someone new to the stick and driving in general.
I am 16, about to get my license at the end of this month (ya im late) i drive a 72' bronco passed down to me from my father . We are going to "re-do" it all ourselves after successfully overhauling my brothers 79' camaro
Ive been driving it on and off whenever i can, it is only a 3 speed atm until we put a 5 speed in, yes 4wd
I love driving a stick, i still have some problem areas but i know how to fix them and Hopefully i will get some pics up soon

Re: New here from Phoenix
Welcome. I didn't get my license until 18, I think. But then, being from NYC, half the people there don't even have licenses.
Glad to have you on board. I'd like to visit Phoenix one day.

Phoenix is cool, dont ever come down in june, july, august, or early september because you will be stuck inside from the 115 degree weather

But it's a dry heat!! Seriously, I know exactly what you mean. Doesn't get that hot here, but with 99% humidity, even 80 degrees makes you lazier than a bump on a log.

Ya its a "dry heat" until your clothes are damp with sweat after driving to the store thats less than 2 miles away!Nychold wrote:But it's a dry heat!! Seriously, I know exactly what you mean. Doesn't get that hot here, but with 99% humidity, even 80 degrees makes you lazier than a bump on a log.
I went to texas last summer, like you said it was only 80ish out but the humidity just killed it lol, still had fun

Hey welcome to the site!
I have some relatives in the Tucson area, been out to AZ a couple times. Mainly did the touristy type crap. Some nice views down there though, like Sedona. Also hung out in Nogales a couple times. Border towns are always an interesting place to go.

Really awesome Camaro. Kind of a dark age car, but still gorgeous.
