Hey, I am Erik

Post by Erik »

Hello everyone,

If you havn't already noticed, my name is Erik and I live in MA. I am pretty much a newbie to a Standard Transmisson cars with the exception that I use to ride a dirtbike (if that even counts). If you are still reading at this point, I thank you, I wouldn't have guessed that people would bother looking at the new peoples introduction...hehe. Anyways, I look forward to meeting new people and learning the proper techniques of stick shifting.

Which car do you have?

Welcome to the site!

And, according to the signature... It must be some kind of Mazda.

Thanks for the replies!

I do indeed drive a Mazda (well, trying to learn to drive it well), a 1993 Miata to be exact. Wonderful car in my opinion. I'll post some pictures of it later if anyone is interested. Any other Miata owners here?

Well, I am sure I will have loads of questions and stories (probably some pretty embarrassing ones too) to share.

1993 is a good year. I drive a 1993 Celica and boy do I get compliments! Even though I know it's a beater :P

I hilariously describe my mishaps because it gives me this warm fuzzy feeling inside that I made someone's day [;)]

Remember the level/hill launch analogy, Jack? [:D] [:D] [:D]

Everyone must be wondering about the square brackets I put around the similies. This is out of habit after staying on orkut.com for so long. There, you have to put [] around the smilies.
