Funny you say that. I've practiced weird ways of shifting as well. My main ourdoor hobby is injury-prone and most likely injury I will see is a broken collarbone. If that happens to the right shoulder, I'll have to shift with my left hand, which I should be able to do based on experience.

I like your attitude! Image

Where there's a will, there's a way!

Where there's a will, I want to be in it.

Ouch, sounds painful. If you don't mind me asking, how did it happen?

A big drum of degreaser the tap failed and sprayed me in the eyes and face. And the portable jug I had in my hand i dropped all over my foot. And being concerned with my face and eyes my foot got soaked and stayed that way. The company I worked for wouldn't let me leave or I would be fired so I stayed and put a rag between my foot and shoe but by then it was already to late and soaked through and ate my skin. That was my last night there to. Drove home and my girlfriend now wife took me to the hospital. I owned a jimmy back then and it was a stick and my foot hurt so bad i used a cheater pipe I had to push the clutch and I could hardly see since my eyes were also burned so I drove very slow. And was probably all over the road.

Wow, how awful! It's a wonder you weren't in worse shape. Doesn't sound like the kind of company you want to work for.

Those are the kind of jobs where if they might fire you for not following safe practices, or might fire you for seeking reasonable medical help, it would be better off being fired. Should report them, also I hope you filed for workman's compensation, called OSHA on them, or process some kind of claim against them, or all three. If it was not too long ago (what is the stature of limitations, 3 years, 7 years???), seek a lawyer. They owe you some major compensation.

Heh, I've done that because I have needed to give something to a screaming uSquint in the back seat. Though I had practiced before, just for poo and giggles - to see if I could.
