New from TX

Post by Incendium »

Howdy, all!

I wanted to introduce myself here so I could thank you all for all of the great information on driving manual cars. I took the plunge today and bought myself a brand new 2012 Ford Mustang (Kona Blue, V6). I look forward to lurking on your amusing discussions and off-topicness (not a word, but it should be).

Didn't get a chance to take any pictures before it was dark outside, but here are some of the dealer shots:

^ Don't listen to him. He doesn't speak for all of us. He's only a self-proclaimed holy cow. The real Holy Cow we used to have on this site hasn't been herd from in years (I think he's too embarrassed to admit he's drivin' a slushbox Tata Nana around India now)

Welcome! Congrats on the new purchase though I feel I am to be the bearer of bad news. Apparently the MT Mustangs have been having some sort of problems with the clutches (they're made in China) Be wary of any odd behavior when shifting or engaging gear, and take it to the dealer as soon as possible to prevent further damage. But otherwise, good luck, welcome, and enjoy your new ride!
