you probably still are the only new guy around here, considering I'm not a guy. heh. sorry.

but yeah! the v6 does haul some ass! the 2011's got a significant power increase. I'm still learning how to use that power though. I must look pretty silly with my slow launches right now but soon as I get this shifting thing down...

And I agree, they sound pretty mean with an exhaust but I think it sounds pretty good stock too, and I'm still trying not to draw TOO much attention to my noob self at this point.

But thanks again to all of you for all the welcomes and kind words!!

Honestly I'm not sure why...this is the most polite, mature (despite the low average age), non-leghumping automotive forum I've ever seen. It's also the most noob-friendly.

S**t just got serious.

Allow me to properly introduce myself. My screenname says 4onthefloor but most people around here call me "Hot Stuff"

............nah I'm just foolin'.

Nice choice on the Mustang though. I've never really been a fan of them, but I'm happy with the direction of Ford lately.

LOL that's one of my favorite sayings.

Actually, I've never really been a ford fan myself. When i was considering my next car it was between a used E36 m3 or a Hyundai Genesis Coupe v6. But i checked out the '11 Mustang and it had all the power, good looks and attitude that I wanted for the right price...so I went for it.

@wannabe and Rope-pusher-- yeah I lurked for about a month and I found this forum to be very mature, informative, and friendly. I don't know where y'all come up with these GIFs though! clever and random at the same time!

Personally I would've gone for the M3, but that's just me. However, there is something to be said for buying a new(er) car.

The Focus isn't actually mine (the engine in my car self-destructed a few months ago, but that's a different story) but I am enjoying driving it. It's got everything you could ask for in a nice little (and inexpensive) package.

I'm flying out of province for a job interview this week and, if all goes well, I'll be getting my own car again.

Just here to say that E36 M3's are awesome. Friend owns one and it's an awesome car. Higher mileage examples require lots of maintenance.

Just drove one over lunch today :D It was fiercely raw and quite a fun thing to experience. The everpresent mechanical whirring meatgrinder sound of the engine, the gearshift that demanded to be manhandled, that great torque curve over 4,000rpms... it is a very angry car. Loved it.
