Re: Howdy, all!
Welcome! Man I love Kona Blue. My fav color for the Mustang, though I like the dark grey as well (and white of course.)
I love how the air filter on the GT500 is the size of a lampshade. Your car can straight up GO FAST and that's what I love about it.
I'm still in warranty period too, but it's hard not to want to tinker with the car when there's such an aftermarket. (Plus my car is a tortoise stock compared to yours; you're already pretty well modded from the factory.) Are you on any other forums? I like S197forum.com, a lot of good info. The attitude there can be offputting at first, but it's all in good fun.
And pics please. You owe it to us!

Re: Howdy, all!
I'll try to get those pics posted this weekend.
Yes, it's a great car... and I'm mad at Ford for improving the '11 so much after they did the same for the '10. That's dirty pool!
The car flat out hauls. Dump the clutch at 2500rpm or so w/ traction control off, run through 2nd and a little bit of 3rd, and you're doing 80... and it seemingly takes no time, even for me, the king of the granny shifters!
And it's reasonably comfortable, even for my dorky 6'2" 265 lb obese self! (OK, OK, just big boned!)
(To you GTO guys... i traded in a 2005 automatic on the GT500 - I loved that car, too. Fast, nondescript looks, great seats and build quality. I had a little $$$ saved up, and just couldn't resist the lure of 540hp for less than $50K; I figure with CAFE going up over the next few years and the incertain gas/economy, these opportunities may not last long.)
