Hey everyone, I'm back ;D (Updated)
I don't know if anyone remembers me, I had been a really active poster on this site a little over 2 years ago, but I ended up getting stationed in Japan and lost my car, and thus my interest in this site. Just got back to the states 4 days ago and I already bought another car, a Manual of course!
No pictures yet, but it's a '95 BMW 323I Convertible. Pics will come, had a hell of a time with this car. Battery was completely dead, had to try incredibly hard not to stall it otherwise I was dead driving it home, and on top of that the gas was almost gone from the dealer. So I stopped at the Gas Station, turned the car off, and realized that I'm screwed now. On top of that, I could not for an hour, figure out how to open the Fuel Door. NO instructions in the Owners Manual either, and it was raining, sleeting, etc etc. Completely soaked, completely miserable. Basically it sucked. Had 3 people offer jumps and finally the last guys truck had enough power to jump my car. But, the cars home, and will be up and running clean in about 3 days, the weather sucks though, can't even enjoy my new car!
Anyway, it's good to be back, and does anyone know how to repair a small like 1 inch tear in the Vinyl Back Windshield
Edit: Sorry I haven't been posting lately, just been either extremely lazy or extremely busy on some days. Here's a picture though, only took one:
By the way, I totally messed up on the name, it's a 325i Cabrio, not a 323 my bad.
And yes, 3 series 2.5L I6 5 speed. Oh and I cleaned the car AFTER I took the picture so it's not as dirty anymore.

Welcome back. I don't know whether you left before I joined or not but sounds familiar.
When the weather clears, let's see the pics of the new car!

Hi there! I'm one of the guys who came in after you left, digging my own stake in the sand. Nice car, welcome home, all that!

Hi, Nervous! Nice to see you back!
Ripped vinyl... Mighty Mendit? *ducks*
Yes, we would enjoy pics.
I've had one of those "*headdesk* Why did I shut the car off? Why, why, why?" moments before.
I would've bump started, however... There are times where I've executed it perfectly... to no avail.

Jk man, welcome (back).
Using my limited knowledge of deciphering those badges, it's a 3.23L fuel injected inline-6? I'd think that'd be nigh-on impossible to stall!

Actually that would mean a 3 series with a fuel injected 2.3L engine1974Alfa5spd wrote:Using my limited knowledge of deciphering those badges, it's a 3.23L fuel injected inline-6? I'd think that'd be nigh-on impossible to stall!
