Re: First stick!
I'm in queens,ny. its so PAINFUL to watch the car in the driveway covered in snow! So far the only experience i have with stick is driving my friends honda. From what i remember, Im still getting used to launching. Particularly w/ the right amount of balance to get a smooth launch/shift? Also, my driveway has a slight incline but my car starts rolling back as soon as i let go of the brake, which causes me to panic.

Picture yourself in a boat on a river,
entering the Gnome Valley Kingdom
with tangerine trees, and marmalade porkchops.
Someone calls you, you answer with haste,
a man with a clutch in his hand.
Celefane shift boots of yellow and green, towering over your head.
Look for the man with the clutch in his hand and hes gone.

Follow him down to the thread by a fountain.
Where a bunch of men talk about marshmellow pie.
Everyone smiles a you drift around the corner.
Then they all get high.
Clutch holding men appear on the shore, waiting to take you away.

Look to the left and who do you see?

It's a nice car and I don't wanna be that guy, however:
- your se-r badging is wrong. That badge is off the 2002+ Nissan Sentra se-r. You original badging is done in the same letters as the rest of the rear badging and in silver.
- your front bumper does not appear to have fog lights. se-r's had foglights.
It may not be an se-r my friend.

Re: First stick!
Welcome.
There's no need to panic when your car rolls. If you're not yet comfortable with your ability to slip the clutch just right to hold your car on the hill, use your handbrake. Even if you are, there's no reason not to use the handbrake if you want to...nor is it required if you can drive fine without it.

Check if your car has the 1.6L GA16DE engine or the 2.0L SR20DE engine to be sure.AHTOXA wrote:It's a nice car and I don't wanna be that guy, however:

+1. only way to know.keravnosdrakien wrote: Check if your car has the 1.6L GA16DE engine or the 2.0L SR20DE engine to be sure.
plus, it looks like the front bumper might have been replaced. probably easier to find a non-SE-R bumper than one with the fogs and whatnot
either way, nice car
