Insurance, gas and the overall car was cheaper, i couldn't afford a $17K GTO when a perfectly good Tiburon was calling my name for $10K (i talked them down to $5K).

5 large for a 2003 talked down from 10k? That's a hell of a deal if this is so. I have not heard anyone talking down a dealer to 50% of the price - or a private owner for that matter.

Not a bad buy if so.

It was a small dealership and it was last winter when the economy was less than perfect, i argued for 3 months and finally he came down!

It was painful to walk away from the car when he wouldn't come down in price always wondering who would walk up and actually give him the 10k for it...but eventually he came to his senses and now she is mine!
