Hello everyone!

I've been lurking for a while and I've finally decided to sign up.

I have only driven a manual car twice before (a corolla and a civic) and I have loved every second of it!

Right now I'm driving my parent's automatic accord but I'm in the market for my own car which will be MT for sure.

My Portuguese wife has never mentioned "pork chop", but of course "pork and cheese" has been said...and "goose", since she is portu-"geese".

I too always wondered why he was the resident pork chop, I guess I know now. I sometimes introduce myself as the resident divine/perforated bovine because, though someone else started the trend, it's kinda fun.

I'm looking forward to the day that I earn official 'resident' status... I think it comes in the mail on a nicely embossed document of some sort...

I nominated myself to be the resident "guy who requests pictures of members' cars", but I'm not sure what word would be used to describe it.
