Welcome!

T&T is the best. I went there for almost 2 months in 2005 for carnival and played in the panorama. I wanted to stay! I miss you guys down there! Whereabouts are you in Trinidad?

good deal. is that a civic? i know the older civics used to have a similar trim level in other countries (outside the US). buena suerte en lo suyo y que nos deje saber si tiene mas preguntas (did you catch that coronel? ).

edit: just went back to the first page and saw it is a civic you're getting, rock on!!

Welcome welcome! I think my feelings are best expressed by this gem from the Big Band era:

If you ever go down Trinidad
They make you feel so very glad
Calypso sing and make up rhyme
Guarantee you one real good fine time

Drinkin' rum and CoCAAAA Cola
(something something, blah blah)*
Both mother and daughter
Workin' for the Yankee dollar

Can't wait to see pictures of your new ride!

* - I haven't heard it in years, so please excuse me for that one forgotten line

EDIT: So I looked it up and the line is "Go down Point Koomahnah"... no wonder I never got that one  Do you ever go down Point Koomahnah?

My car is here... I drove it home (well the last 5%)... I didn't do so bad... My only problem is just pulling off in 1st gear... I did a lil practice in the yard with just reversing and going forward...

Tomorrow I am gonna practice some more... Pics will follow soon....

padauk_dust, thanks....

I really miss it... Wow... Even though the VTI isn't the fastest car, it for sure isn't the slowest lol.... My engine is the D16W7 with Simota Aero Form Intake...

Hi manual_trini, I am also from Trinidad. I am happy to see another Trini on this forum. How are you getting along with the car?
