I'm gonna try and get some pics up over the weekend, if time permits. It's been a week driving my car, and I'm pretty decent so far. I need to work on incline/hill starts. I keep giving the car too much gas and screeching the tires :x(On the minor roll backs I'm fine, but I sorta get nervous when someone rolls up behind me. I'll try the visit the site more, and once I get better at my weak points, I can definitely do some kind of Upstate NY meetup

Why not try using the handbrake for those difficult launches?

Thanks. I was gonna try that this weekend. I tried last week with my friend who's been helping me drive. He held the e-brake as I let out the clutch and give the car some gas and then he let the e-brake go to give me the general idea. I've got the concept down for the most part, but I slip up when releasing the brake. I'll be out all weekend long practicing and let you guys know how it turns out.

^ lol. I wanna just be able to go with minimal/no roll. I did it once on my way home. But I figure I can take the alternative way home, which is an extra minute until I get much more comfortable from uphill starts. Better safe than sorry

I had the luxury of being stopped by about 20 lights this Saturday. Lol. I hated that, but my stop and go got really good from that. I didn't go out Sunday, but on my way to work, my launches were less bucky and I don't know if this does anything, but I shift into 2nd gear as soon as I get momentum and the car doesn't buck at all. Inclines, also getting better

That strategy works well.

why would you, you got 8000 rpms to play with, your car was made for high rpms. EM1 Si's are fun little cars. 160hp in a car taht weighs nothing, VTEC, and EK coupes are great looking cars.
