Hooray for the Trojan City! Or the Troylet, or whatever you like to call Troy. And sorry if any of theoe were offensive. Good to see you learning stick in such a challenging locale. I frequent the massive hill that is Hoosick Street/Route 7, and it is a great (or scary) place to practice and perfect your hill starts.

I'm about 20 minutes north of you, in Clifton Park.

Welcome, fellow upstate New Yorker!

Holy hell, Ballston Lake? One of my good buddies from high school was originally from Ballston Spa.

Fixed, and +1.

He's a dickbag, asshole, douche-bag, and a nice guy.

I'm not disputing that, but... It's quite the paradox, no?
If you seriously think about it, doesn't it just make you want to tear your hair out?

I'm Aaron, btw.

Anyone up for a Capital District meet-up?? :D I live in Poughkeepsie and work in Rhinebeck but I went to school in Albany and loved that area for driving and there were lots of places to eat. I used to drop off a friend up in Schaghticoke now and then so I got to drive through Troy a lot. If you ever get the chance to venture out west of Albany, I found the areas west of Slingerlands fun driving. You can take 90 west through Albany and get onto 85 and then make a right when you come to the light. Thatcher State Park was pretty cool and the driving out there is great. Nice views of Albany from there too. Just don't forget your map or GPS if you don't know the area since it's easy to get lost    .
