Welcome to the forums.

What engine, transmission, etc. does your car have? AWD?

My car was still Swedish in part. 50% in fact. In 2000 GM gained full control while I have a 1999 model.

But even after 2000 the cars were still being built from the Swedish parts bin. They didn't really get GM-ified until the next redesign in 2003. Heh, and just to muddy things up a bit, my post-takeover 2000 was built in a secondary manufacturing facility in Finland

So If I can still call mine Swedish (and I do), then you can certainly call yours the same :)

If I'm not mistaken, volvo was also bought out in 2000, so my S70 is also the last fully swedish made.
