You COULD get the Tiburon...but you'd also be getting a Hyundai.

hmm, MX-5, Jetta, 9-3, MR2, last gen 3-series, Eclipse, 3000GT, 300zx, maybe a 350z even though a 300zx TT is better.

Off the top of the dome.

Ty so much guys for your help. I kinda put the rsx out of the picture because on craigslist near me the 2002 models are going for too much. I have been told by my parents i can spend no more than 7 grand on a car ( leaving 3k for upfront insurance payment, and future repairs ) And yes gas milage is a concern as of now. If i didnt mention it earlier I will be paying for insurance, the car and gas, repairs, anything else that might happen so, I gota look into everything. Ty so much for your help, Im gona look into em and call the insurance agent, hopefully he isnt tired of my neverending questions lol

Man, you're blessed with good weather in Florida (by good I mean no snow) so you could get a rear wheel drive car with considerably less consequences than getting one up here in Michigan...

snow is baller and RWD in the snow is FTW. dont listen to your mom, parents dont know crap, they just make you think they know everything, and whatever they know applies to their generation of people and is way obsolete

espo92 wrote:Ummmm, Sporty looking with a 150-200 hp engine, nothing that will kill me on insurance, that gets decent mpg ( wow doesnt that fit a big bill) I was looking at things like the '03 Tiburon GT, and of course the '03 Mustang GT, and the weird one a '03 Altima, but the altima was the most expensive price wise/ least mpg/ highest insurance.
I liked the Tiburon and was okay with the base model RSX. If you liked the 03 Altima, you might want to consider a late 90's or early 2000's Maxima. I have a 98 Maxima and it is quick, gets decent mileage and insurance isn't bad at all (well, mine'd be much lower if I didn't have full coverage). Only real downsides are FWD and budget rear suspension (2k+ Maxes went back to the IRS which is good). If you would consider RWD, a 95+ 240sx would be a good find. They are often less desirable than the older 240s which means you should be able to find good ones for sale and for cheap :) .
