Thanks, and thanks! I like yours too...especially the Magic Seat! Helps everything "fit" in the FiT (sorry, had to do that)!!

Don't go by MSRP. I was able to shave hundreds off it when I got my car.

You really looking into a FiT? So I was a bit off when I said Lexus and Beemer huh? LOL

Americans aren't FiT. It's no small wonder why I don't see too many FiTs on American roads. I have a picture of one parked next to my car, but it was a slushbox.

It's weird. Honda announced a 30% increase in sale for this fiscal quarter versus last year's. The FiT and Civic are cited as the main reasons for the increase, and yet I've still seen only 5 FiTs on the road since I got mine April 15 :? They seem to be piling up at the local dealer too. At first I thought Honda was having trouble keeping supply up with demand and thus there was a shortage of FiT in this market. Now, I just don't get it. Maybe I'll eventually see the little cars in droves.

As fuel prices go up, more people will buy cars like these thinking it will relieve the pressure from fuel costs. They'll probably be disappointed.

I dunno. It all depends what they're used to. If they're used to 15 to 25 MPG, I don't think 35 MPG (city) will disappoint them.

Chances are, the 15-25 MPG car they're used to will be a lot roomier and faster than the 35 MPG car they are switching to. That's where I'm saying they'll be disappointed. That's so typical of "everyone" though - you can't have everything at once!

Hmm... So what's the best car for balancing fun with fuel economy? Miata maybe?
