Just moved to San Mateo from Chicago.
Went to Muir Woods National Monument last weekend. Getting there from Route 1 felt like running up and down a touge. I wasn't going fast, of course. Plus i was driving a rental (read: auto) Cobalt.

Are ppl interested in meets or hanging out?

There is a fire that is pretty close to my school. The sky right now has an ominous pale orange color. Not to mention the air has so much debris it is clogging up my lungs >_<

70MPH winds definitely do not help.

I'm something like 20 miles from 1 of the fires but it's causing may asthma to go crazy. I can barely go outside to my car without having breathing issues.

The air seems to be clearing up a little. The sky has some blue in it, unlike yesterday where it was just yellow. I hope they've contained it more today. It wasn't so windy today, well atleast in my area.

I live in Pasadena in eastern L.A. county, at least a 45 min. drive from downtown. It's sorta a suburb. Next to no traffic compared to Downtown with maybe Old Town at night being an exception.
