Bah, it's just a tropical storm...ain't nothing. Now, if you want to talk about some real storms (or at least a scare), check this mother out:

Floyd's on the left in the picture. I remember watching that thing, with eyes wide, thinking it would destroy Florida. They kept telling us "It's going to strengthen to 140 mph winds, and decimate Florida". The storm is BIGGER than freaking Florida! And, even from that picture, it swooped north, and pounced on an unsuspecting North Carolina.

Re: FLORIDA **CHAT**
I actually lived in Miami, FL when Andrew hit. I don't remember where I was when Floyd hit. I know I was in Ocala, but don't remember what I was doing...maybe we had a hurricane party and I was drunk through the whole thing...that does sound like something I would do! You know the Perfect Storm?
Yeah, that was me.
As in I lived in Gloucester.
As in the water was coming directly through the walls.
As in horizontally through them, not running in the seams.

Ill tell you what for a so called nothing tropical-storm it surely messed up Central Florida and Melbourne. Over 24" of rain in some places. The subdivision across the street from mine was flooded really bad, like some people couldnt leave the house, and had water coming in. Btw im new to the forums, stumbled upon them searching for tips on driving a stickshift, im new to it and dont have much time to practice

Re: FLORIDA **CHAT**
No real damage from the storm here. Parents in Melbourne had a lot of rain, but managed to avoid the nasty flooding that hit a lot of the area. Had friends that had sewage coming out of drains. Yikes!
