But what was your asking price? You could've got way more for it.
No she couldnt.

Cars that dont run correctly arent worth much of anything.

...doubly so when they're a rusty 1989 Dodge Spirit.

But anyway, if the Firebird is going to sell, it's going to have to be cheaper than the competition. When you look at market value, it doesn't accomplish anything to look at the highest-priced cars. Buyers skip right past those, and right past yours. Buyers look at the lowest priced cars first. So, look around and see how little you could pay for a similar car; that's how much someone else will pay.

Sell it yet? If I were you, I would beat whatever hell it has left out of it, have whatever V7 fun you can have, then sell it for $500 when it really stops working.

No. Still for sale. I really thought there would be more interest in a car like this, V8 and manual. Most V8s are automatic.

You're telling me. I just wasn't brave enough to say so first.

Yeah, Leedith, but people don't often buy broken cars. Maybe if you try fixing it up a little bit then putting up another add. You might ge some bites that way.

AFAIK the V7 problem is fixed. The spark plug that was fouled was replaced, so I think that cylinder is running again.

I have lowered the price to $2500.

If anyone has any interest at all in the car, just post up the max you would pay for it, even if it is just $500. Eventually I might get desperate enough that I'll accept the offer.

Wasn't the V7 issue the original reason you wanted to get rid of the car?

All that time it was just a fouled spark plug?

That and because my dad thinks it's unreliable.

I also want to get the money back that I sunk into the car.

I haven't had it tested but that was probably the reason.

Dude, you're not going to sell your car advertising it to the same seven people that frequent this forum, and that are located across the U.S. and Canada. Focus locally. Craigslist, autotrader.com, and if all else fails, ebay.

+1. And if I had 2 grand to play around with for a manual RWD V8 I'd be all over this.

I just put a posting up on ebay. $1500 starting, no reserve.

And I AM putting it on craigslist. Not many have contacted me even with a low offer.
