Problem I Experience When Teaching Other To Drive Manual

Post by Bboy_Burst »

I Have Already Teached A Few People How To Drive Stick Shift.....The Problem I Had Was Them Not Listen To Me.....They Tend To Do Everything Themselves.....A Few Of Them Talked Like They Know A Lot, But When It Comes To Driving, They Are More Worst Than A Newbie...Stall My Car So Many Time That I Stopped Teaching Unless Its On Their Vehicle...

I think everybody knows how to drive standard. I think the problem is that many of them can't drive standard.

While those statements appear similar, there's a quite a big difference. I've heard from a few people who are interested in learning, and want me to teach them that they "understand the concept" of driving a car with a manual transmission, it's just that most of them have never put it into practice.

I don't think it's possible to be successful with the deep understanding of a principle with zero practice.

Before i got a stick, i knew how to do everything.

When i got my stick, i stalled it out 457954 times because i didnt know the technique to it.

In other words, they know what to do, but they have never done it before.

Being like that helped a lot when I got my car.
