Holy monopoly grab Batman! They want to put the entire independent auto repair industry out of business and prevent you from going to a competing company's dealer service department...if you buy a Toyota, they want the law to prevent you from getting it serviced anywhere other than a Toyota dealer.

I feel like they'll never move away from an ISO standard but I can see having to pay money to hear about some manufacturer specific codes...until someone leaks it online. Look at copy protection after all.
