Technically we should hold a runoff, but if people prefer to shortcut things and call a win for the Toyobaru, that's fine with me. The Porsche 911 would get the retroactive 2012 award.

Runoff? I thought that was only if two were tied for 1st?

Runoff if none got an outright majority (51%). But I'm just making this up as I go along, so no big deal :-)

Well, I guess 50% is close enough to 51% :)

GTHO...i call for a do-over, even if it means voting for one of the other cars...  8)

edit: i thought the 911 was in the runnings?? :o :? :!:
take the cayman out and put the 911 in if there aren't enough spots

Sorry Rob, no do-overs. We can have a runoff if you really want one, but with only 10 people voting it could overkill. Your Cayman won't be in the mix anyway since it wasn't a top 2 vote-getter. As for the 911, it ran unopposed for the 2012 award and will be deemed the winner of that award.

So, to sum up, here are the final results assuming we don't hold a runoff -

2013 StandardShift.com Manual Transmission Car of the Year:
Subaru BRZ/Scion FR-S

2012 StandardShift.com Manual Transmission Car of the Year (retroactively awarded):
Porsche 911
