Looks like a nice refresh, but what is with the bifurcated, L shaped, taillights? The Camry has it, the Scion thingy, and now the Civic! Styling trends gone awry.

As for the Accord, I like it. The old one looked like a yacht, and not a nice one, with its bug eyes and large rump. The new one appears to have fixed that, but I've not seen many new ones in the flesh and don't want to be accosted by a dealership when I go to take a peek. Maybe I'll go to the local Honda dealership tomorrow.

Every time I see a new Camry from behind, I think of this:

The taillights remind me of Toucan Sam's beak.

i actually kind of liked the rearend (and side) design on the new camry, at least before you brought out toucan sam

the front end looks like a giant razor got lodged in the front grill. reminds me of the ford fusion with it's gillette fusion grill. that grill didn't look too bad though, especially on more recent models (before they turned it into an aston martin).

I do agree with you...on both things. I agree the fusion looks like a razor blade, but it looks good in person.

Yes. +..2?

Also, when I quickly glanced at that new picture, I thought it was a Corolla Sport at first, not a Civic.

really?! I don't like the sedan as much as the coupe. Here is the interior.

I was just talking about the exterior pic you showed with the red cars. At first glance, it reminded me of the Corolla Sport in terms of shape/lines of the car. There are some differences, but the two cars look more similar than previous versions.

Wait, so did they like totally redo the civic 1 year into the redesign, or does it just look like they did??

No no, I understood what you were saying. They kind of do, I agree, but there are some differences, I wouldn't get them confused if I looked quickly.

Yeah the sedan didn't really look that great. I think the coupe is the same. or More similar than the sedan. The interior layout is the same but the interior quality will be much better.

According to this article, Honda is admitting it messed up the 2012 Civic with this 2013 refresh.
