I agree, they did a good job. The previous generation coupe was massive.

I kind of hope they get back into the roadster business.

So I was reading and wow http://www.topspeed.com/cars/car-news/h ... 35267.html doubt it will happen.

yeah, new accord seems to have redeemed the accord styling wise; my sister has an '11 accord SE and it looks nice except from the front and back. the thing rides more like a luxury car than the older accords though.

I like the looks of the new Accord, but it seems that most people who drive the coupe version appear to drive like idiots. At least when they're around me

It's a nice refresh, odd timing though. They're already eating every other compact in Canada for breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and now they want dessert too.

i've only seen one or 2 new accords and they were sedans; never seen the new coupe yet and never seen the refreshed civic (or else i might've considered it; i think they're pushing the '12s or maybe unrefreshed '13s up in here)

well I think its because consumer reports said it was not a good car interior wise. I don't know what they were saying, felt pretty solid to me. I sat in the hybrid.

Same, the old coupe was a boat.

the 13 civics aren't out yet. The 27th or something is when they go on sale.

Has the interior been refreshed?

Honda Civic is the number one selling passenger vehicle in Canada right now at over 50,000 vehicles YTD. Elantra is second at 42,000. I think the second or third month the Civic got released, they had 6,800 sales vs. 3,000 sales of the Elantra, 3, and Corolla (each), it was pretty much a shellacking.

Naysayers spelled the Civic's doom when the "all-new" 2012 was introduced, myself included. Boy were we wrong.

Goes to say, the more the auto enthusiasts hate it, the more successful it'll be.

I felt the interior quality, it wasn't that bad. It felt solid. I really don't care if the dashboard is soft. I'd rather have the switches not break and everything work as it should. I miss those old style switches. Image
ones that looked like that.

I also would rather have the transmission be good quality and the engine be strong.
