2013 Corvette 427 comes 6-speed manual only.

I like the article... but I hate websites that make me click through a slideshow. It's slowly becoming a pet peeve of mine.

I almost said the original Volkswagen Bug, then I remembered my sister had one with an unusual 3 speed stick with no clutch. Same with my friend's parent's VW from around 1970, but a 2 speed gear selector. I remember hearing it drive by - kind of sounded like a CVT.

Unfortunately the new Subaru Forester is unavailable with the 2.0 non-turbo or diesel engine in the U.S., but is in Australia. From an online review of the diesel Forester:

" All come with a six-speed manual; the new CVT auto is not available with the oiler engine and won't be in the foreseeable future"
