Cutouts or a good exhaust system on the goat?

Post by AHTOXA »

Ok so I'm deliberating whether I want to go with cutouts or an exhaust system on the goat. Exhaust system sounds refined, deep and well-tuned. Look for spintechs on a GTO withan h pipe on YouTube. Cutouts are simply Rae and I can close them to not attract cop attention when I wanna fly low.

Opinions?

I voted exhaust system, just because I have no idea what cutouts are. lol. As long as you have a good exhaust note, you're not gonna attract the popo.

Cutouts dump the exhaust after the header bypassing the muffler. Increases HP but decreases TQ slightly. They open electronically with a swich at any time you wanna be loud.

I bet the stock system has a really nice tone. It's bound to last as long as the car. It is engineered by world-class engineers to match the rest of the car. It is also surely pleasant enough at any speed and throttle level, even late at night.

Cutouts are way cool.

The straight pipes make it sounds like an old rusty pickup truck. Exhaust!

I vote cutouts. I think it's nice to sit at a light purring quietly while some d-bag rolls up in a ricer and revs at you. Open the cutouts, give it a bootful or revs, and watch him cower in fear
