Re: how to drive slow
I don't know why it did that. it was recorded at 960p and then I used ms movie maker to cut it and resave as 720p or something, and it just ended up like that when i uploaded onto youtube.

how to drive slow
i had my first race of the season and was not so happy with my pace, especially in the dry. I was seconds off last year. Going to have to figure out what's up with the car and myself for the next race. Here's a practice session from the day before the race weekend http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GaUw...

Re: Hahaha...24 Hours of Lemons was Awesome!
How the hell do you guys find sub-$500 cars so easily? 90% of them here are old-ass Plymouth vans with blown up transmissions. I don't think they're that hard to find, plenty on craigslist... ok not plenty but they are out there. The secret is it's gonna cost a lot more then $500 to run the ...

manual transmission driving lessons
ok, so I got the idea to advertise to give driving lessons for learning to drive a manual transmission on craigslist just for the hell of it. Since I've never done this before I said I would give a free lesson in your car, but said I could possibly provide a car, and someone has actually inquired ab...

Re: Take this Civic Literacy Exam
"life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness" should be a cliche that everybody knows. chiche, but not as simple as it seems... I guess I overthought the question, but I knew that the basis of it was life, liberty and property read about it here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Life,_liberty...

Re: SC rev match and turning
I would worry less about clutch wear and more (if anything at all) about drivetrain wear. Most "laymens" slip their clutch ALOT to cushion the blows when changing gears. Every jerk you feel is force that has to be absorbed by the drivetrain. I don't think somewhat jerky shifts are enough t...

Re: taxing miles
if they need more money to support the road infrastructure now, raise fuel taxes and tolls. fuel taxes will encourage people to buy/use more fuel efficient vehicles. As electrics gain more market share, obviously there will need to be a gas tax equivalent for them too. its kinda cuz of hybrids/EV -...

Re: 2004 Mazda 3s, 2.3 manual @ 76K miles
just a guess, maybe 3-5k to have a rebuilt engine installed? alternatively, you could get one of these: http://www.cosworthusa.com/store/pc/viewCategories.asp?idCategory=20 $10-15k, but you'll have 220-280HP, naturally aspirated! 3-5K is expensive for me muchless $10-15K for the other engine. Hmm.....
