My driveway is pretty steep. When I back down it, after I use reverse a little to get out of the garage, should I just put in neutral and coast to the bottom of the driveway, then back in reverse to get out in the road, or should I just leave it in revers and push the clutch in whilie I'm going down...

So I am getting an STi, soon hopefully, and I read somewhere that it has tripple cone synchros on first gear. Does this mean I will be able to downshift into 1st at higher speeds without double-clutching? I realize I probably still should double clutch going into 1st regardless of synchros or speed,...
