I'm assuming he could just get some OEM STI HIDs. They look the same, so maybe they'd fit. That might just be what he's talking about.

Filled up yesterday in the STI and got over 19mpg. I was actually pleasantly surprised.

I saw the BRZ in person yesterday. Cool looking car and interesting concept, but I'm surprised Subaru is making a car that isn't AWD. Also, the clutch is so light that it feels fake.

If you haven't, check Craigslist and Autotrader around your area. They usually list ridiculous prices, but are willing to come down quite a bit.
