eaglecatcher, by "hd drive" do you mean the "HD DVD drive" or are you talking about the hard drive? If it's the former, an HD DVD drive does nothing with regards to gameplay. It's only for watching movies, or playing audio CDs. Game discs will not even be recognized in that drive...

Didn't you post a thread where you described how to adjust the handbrake on your tC? Your handbrake still struggles to hold after adjustment?

WTF AM I BUYING ONE OR NOT!!?!?! DAMNIT!!!! :x :? I've got a DFP. Would I recommend buying one? I wouldn't recommend it just for GT4. If you're looking to buy it for a driving experience that is as close to real life as possible, I will tell you that I've long since grown out of Gran Turismo. As fa...

Steering styles can be classified into three general categories: one-handed, hand over hand, and shuffle (or if you prefer, one-handed and two-handed, with hand over hand a shuffle being two subcategories under two-handed). Palming is one-handed steering, using the palm to move the wheel since our w...

If you're using Xubuntu and installing through the liveCD it should be sufficient to just use the "guided partition using whole disk" option (I forget the exact wording but I believe there should be something close to that), keeping in mind that like everyone else has said this will erase ...

You could try Xubuntu. Xubuntu is an officially supported version of Ubuntu that uses the more lightweight Xfce desktop. The webpage for Xubuntu is here-
http://www.xubuntu.org/
and you can get the iso's and see the system requirements here-

Hope that helps.

Here are some pics I took in my day-to-day driving. http://img144.imageshack.us/img144/881/wtftruckhl3.jpg Took the words right out of my mouth. I was at Circuit City one day when I came back to my car to find a truck parked next to me with this name plate on it. Makes me wonder if the company's own...
