I am in your shoe too.
Best option would be to buy a used vehicle for $500-$1000 and drive it extensively for a year if you can. But first learn the basics and the internal engineering and how it works before driving it. If you know the internal working, the rest is pretty smooth.

Re: What influenced your interest in manual transmissions?
I got interested in manual transmission when I saw no one in my community drives a stick shift.. NO ONE. it is as if it is a quality that very few people posses. That is the main reason for my love towards stick shift. Out of curiosity, how big is your community? It'd be more impressive for you if ...

Re: Do you look inside cars to see if its stick?
Good looking car or not, I always , always try to see if they have a stick shift. Again, I personally drive an auto and having a second car soon enough with stick shift to learn how to drive a manual. It is a personal choice and automatic is way more relaxed and chilled out. I have heard drag race d...

It was like having all the poeple of USA in Los Angels only. It was that much crowded. later on, I ended up having automatic as my first car. To...

Nobody in my community drives a standard shift as everyone is afraid of stalling .. haha. so I want to stand out and brag about it . I drive a 2002 Honda Accord Ex-L V6 . Hoping to get a che...
