I apparently own a Century Arms CETME (.308 Rifle) now.

My dad saw one at the gun shop asked me if I wanted to buy it and I just said sure why not.

It's only 30 dollars more than the M&P15-22 was going to be. Plus he used it in a combo deal to get another gun. (A Saiga that uses 7.62x39?)
