Ok, so you know how people always talk about how a person lost a race bc of driver error, and b/c they didn't know how to drive their car...what are some of these errors? The thing that gets me is that car manufacturers make the faster of the trim line in auto only. For example, the new M-Benz C350 is auto only, while the lower model comes in stick too. That really grinds my gears.

Clutching in while upshifting

When you clutch in to shift, do you have to press the clutch all the way to the floor? Or, can you push it pretty close to floor, as long as its past the friction point? I don't want to mess up a car, but when I don't push it all the way to the floor I can shift more smoothly. Thanks.
