Re: Kumho Ecsta ASX (Ultra High Performance All Season Tires)

Yeah I went 235/40/18 to fit my new rims. Maybe that's why it is a bit more expensive. I should get some photos on here sometime  No rubbing whatsoever with this size, and I'm still on stock suspension. The way I see it, even if I was on stock size tires I wouldn't really wana drive on my spare...

Re: Kumho Ecsta ASX (Ultra High Performance All Season Tires)

Haven't posted in a while, but I surf around here pretty frequently.

Anyways, what a coincidence I actually just bought the same tires from tirerack for $76 a tire.

If you dont mind me asking what size did you get?

Currently Stage One with COBB AP.

Getting a new shift knob for Christmas though. :D

Eventually I'll go stage two with a full turboback exhaust... maybe when my warranty is done or when the car starts feeling slow.

No you can't have it! It's my precious!

You could wait for the RalliArt Lancer that is coming out soon. Around 250 horses and it has all the neat new technoligies like the Evolution.

Who warms up their car after ignition?

Who lets their car idle for a while after ignition? I was talking to a couple friends today about their cars, and surprisingly none of them did. One of them even said it was unncecessary, I was kinda shocked 'cause I've been taught to always let my car idle especially on cold days for like a minute ...

I've only driven a couple manuals. But recently I had the privilege of driving in a SRT-4.

The clutch engagement was a lot faster compared to my STI. It didn't seem as prone to bucking during starts. It was definitely easier to drive in my opinion.

No I didn't get the stock boost gauge... thought it looked kinda dull. Might swap out my center clock thing for a set of 3 Defi gauges... when my gravy train starts rolling again. Ha ha! :) I've read the manual, was just curious if everyone did it that way. I've heard some people do hard break ins. ...

I'm from Canada so... I've heard people say 3000 km or 5000km. Didn't know you have to idle before you turn it off though. Hehe.

Real satisfying driving after learning manual.
