Re: I think I found the worst thing about interior design for manual transmission cars

I see the Fit actually managed to put the cupholders out of the way. I have a feeling like a lot of cup holder locations are afterthoughts you're telling me. don't forget cupholders were not as prevalent or required back in the 90s...be glad you didn't get an older civic... http://masbukti.com/manu...

Re: I hate this car

IIRC the previous gen Regal was made in Germany till 2011. 2012-2017 they were made in Canadia. 2018 they were made in Germany with the new generation. I'm heavily contemplating a previous gen German one. Might be a bit more simpler than the current gen with no Turbo etc. I wonder how they hold up....

The Regal is actually more German than most of VWs lineup.

I do like the Regal and was looking into one. Just a bit too pricey for what is in my budget

Re: Does this unicorn exist?

The Beans did drive a current Camry, with a V6 no less. Was okay, and I liked the HUD, but overall it didn't offer anything that I couldn't get elsewhere. It had the same power numbers as the 300, but wasn't quite as teutonic and portly and felt a little lighter on its tootsies. eye test drove one ...

Re: Does this unicorn exist?

Can't fact check here but I was fairly certain a lot of mid size sedans trumped trump cubic volume even compared to full size while maintaining the similar passenger volume. I wish auto makers reserved this class to more RWD/AWD entries and something other then the me too mid size segment attribute...

Re: Dodge Dart Manuel Woes

glitchy UConnect trash. Interesting... UConnect is by far the most user-friendly infotainment system on the market. Yeah, I agree with this. I had a few FCA rentals when traveling and Uconnect is good. The only issue I have is having to go through it to use heated seats in the current gen Durango. ...

Re: I hate this car

I don't remember blowing off a Mercedes but I definitely remember all the misfortunes that car endured. well, it was more like caught her off guard then she didn't try to keep up. eye took a loss on my jetta, not just due to the legendary vw depreciation, but also due to hitting icebergs too many t...

Re: I hate this car

I remember my 08 Rabbit I bought new and had for a few years. I also had a bit of a love and hate relationship with it. Man, that seems like such a long time ago that I had it. i remember your grey rabbit getting hit and dented every time you turned around. my grey '12 jetta was also a dent and din...

Re: I hate this car

Maybe its because of the other cars that i've owned that I find it less exciting. Speaking of which, I've toyed with the idea of getting an E46. Not sure if I can make the swap since this rabbit is the closest we have to a "truck". How does the I6-2.5 compare to the VW 2.5? I've nev...

Re: Does this unicorn exist?

I'm fairly open to all of the above actually. I usually try and stay as open minded in this field when it comes down to it and actually test drove a lot of compact utes (or cross overs). The one's that stood out to me were the CX5 and Tucson/Sportage twins. I do want to future proof a bit here and ...

Re: I hate this car

interesting perspective on the highly misunderstood (even by me) golf/rabbit. i never really considered mine very cargorific, but eye'm apparently using it wrong - time to clean him out and fold those rear seats. if yours has that much room, mine will have even more; with the seats up the hatch area...
